With April here, we want to give you some lawn care tips and quick facts!

April showers can be a blessing for your lawn, providing much-needed moisture after the winter months. The increased rainfall helps to hydrate the soil, promoting healthy root growth and overall lawn health. However, it's important to keep a few tips in mind during this rainy season. By following these tips, you can make the most of April showers and help your lawn thrive.

  1. Ensure that your lawn has proper drainage to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot and other issues.

  2. Regularly check for any areas of standing water and address them promptly.

  3. Avoid mowing your lawn when it is wet, as this can cause damage to the grass blades and compact the soil. Instead, wait for the grass to dry out before mowing.

  4. Take advantage of the rain by adjusting your watering schedule accordingly. If your lawn receives a good amount of rainfall, you may need to reduce the frequency of your irrigation.

If you know anyone that needs lawn care services, send them our way!
